Where to Begin?

I have been feeling for years that God has called me to share his truth but have not known how I was going to go about this. My wife has been blogging for several years now and I finally feel that it is time for me to begin my own. I will be tackling Religious teachings that are not true. I also plan to bring to light the non-Biblical teachings of many denominations, no matter who they are. I believe that religion is a very slippery slope that can actually cause us to fall further away from God when all we may desire is to become closer. This Blog will be for people who are truly seeking God's truth. I will base everything off of the One True Word of God. I will use other books depending on the religion I may be dealing with to address errors that those churches may have with their own teachings or doctrines. I don't plan on following any game plan so I am open to requests or topics. I know that anytime you deal with any ones beliefs you will find argument and/or hurt feelings, but I feel a renewed conviction to address the lies that are leading many to an eternal death. God has already told us his truth but man and religion have been taking many good people straight to Hell. I am here to sound the alarm bell because of these versus...
Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
There are to many that have been rocked to sleep with false teachings from people that have claimed to be true preachers, pastors, teachers, or even prophets. I feel that if you are truly wanting God's truth or feel you have it you should not be threatened or offended by a blog like this. If anything it should challenge you to make sure that you will not be one of those people that Jesus is talking about. I know that I was raised with a set of beliefs that as I got older and began to think, read, and search for myself I began to see that there were errors. When I met my wife and we took a good long look at her beliefs we found the same things. Then when she pulled away from her religion and we started to search for a church body to call our home we began to see that there were many issues. Now, don't get me wrong... Some issues are not salvation issues. Meaning that a religion may teach something that is not backed up by the Bible but it won't separate you from God. Some however are deadly differences and may be sending you or others down the wrong path that is not taking you closer to God, but actually separating you from him. I will be covering many issues both salvation and not. I will make not of which they are at the time and it will be up to you to bounce it off of God's word to see for yourself. I will be giving Chapter/Verse references for everything and will have two or more versus to back my statements about true salvation issues. Mat 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. Now I know that this verse is talking about sin and unforgiveness in it's context but it is important to see that what Jesus is saying is true no matter what it applies to. If one person say they saw the accident and this is what happened then we believe them, but if two come forth and say they saw it and neither of them have the same story then it is harder to know for sure who is right. Now if a third comes forth and his story lines up with one of the first two then it is fair to say that you will believe the two over the one. I, in writing this do not claim to be a Biblical scholar or know everything there is to know. I am asking God to be my guide and give me the words to speak and write to this blog. I am not perfect nor do I claim that I am, so that is why I challenge you when reading my blogs to verify for yourself what I am saying with your own Bible or copy of what ever book I may be using. Please give me feed back.
